The contract was awarded to FSA to commence the uplifting works at the historical area in Al dahab square at al Balad (Jeddah). Works include the upgrading the existing roads, pavements and landscape, in addition to the upgrade of certain shops and building’s façade, and erecting two new buildings to serve for upcoming events. Scope includes immense infrastructure works underground, along with all utility diversions and MEP works. Traffic diversion and provisional roads are included in the scope.

One of the first developments in the masterplan for the vision of the KSP, the Visitors Pavilion will be sitting at the heart of the KSP site. Floating above the scheme and supported by diamond shaped concrete columns, a monolithic, in-situ, concrete roof 160x 100m, almost the size of a two football pitches, shades the courtyard and terraces.

Project Description

The Development and Improvement of the Urban Environment for the Justice Palace Area (Phase 2)

FSA is entrusted with the construction and execution of The Development and Improvement of the Urban Environment for the Justice Palace Area (Phase 2) in Riyadh. This encompasses enhancing building facades and shops along several streets, including Al-Suwailem Street, Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Street, Al-Thumairi Street, Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Street, King Faisal Street, King Fahd Road, Al-Batha Street, and Al-Madina Al-Munawarah Road. Specific tasks for FSA involve incorporating sidewalks, landscaping, loading and unloading parking lots, pedestrian crossings, traffic signs, road markings, and the relocation of catch basins. Additionally, FSA will be responsible for developing public parking, afforestation, and improvements to street lighting. The project aims to eliminate distortions on Al-Thumairi Street, refurbish pavement, upgrade street lighting and furniture, and expand the plaza surrounding Al-Musmak Palace. FSA will also oversee the enhancements to Al-Adl Square (Justice Plaza) and the surrounding streets, including the removal of asphalt layers and the installation of colored cement tiles.

The Implementation and Completion of Design & Build construction works for BP3 Diriyah Gate Connection at the Sports Boulevard

FSA is tasked with implementing Bid Package 3 (Zone 6) in the Riyadh Sports Boulevard Project Phase 1. Covering a 1.5 km section, the project involves designing, supplying, and installing various elements, including pavements, plantations, and utilities. FSA is responsible for 100% design completion, obtaining permits, and ensuring compliance. Divided into two segments, Segment 1 includes cycle and pedestrian paths, rest areas, and planting. FSA must adhere to Saudi Arabian standards and international best practices for detailed design. The project requires coordination, validation plans, and as-built records, with a focus on safety and timely completion within budget constraints.

Project Description

Considered at the time one of the biggest housing projects, it was completed in 18 months using cast-in-place and pre-cast concrete. The 18 multi storey building consist of apartments and other service buildings covering an area of 23000 m2

The original contract amount of this housing project for Saudi Arabian Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) was around SR 80 Million, during the construction period a dining hall and some external and internal works were added which raised the contract amount to SR 101 Million.
